Teaching Fellows Course 2018
9 August, 2018
This month, approximately 60 new Teaching Fellows from numerous countries will participate in the 2018 Teaching Fellows Pedagogical Course.
The course features workshops and group discussions on modern Economics teaching practices, and is also a great chance to network with others in the field.
This year, our Career Integration Fellows will have an opportunity to present their research at a Poster Presentation of Research. The event includes refreshments, and attendees and presenters can meet and greet, and discuss their work with everyone interested. This is a great opportunity to grow your professional network, and possibly to be inspired by new ideas. The event is open to the entire CERGE-EI community.
CERGE-EI Teaching Fellows program was launched in 2007 to increase the quality of undergraduate teaching in Economics faculties throughout the CEE and CIS regions. Since then, Teaching Fellows have taught in 25 countries, reaching over 121,000 students. In the 2017/18 academic year alone, 158 CERGE-EI Teaching Fellows were teaching courses at 85 universities in 22 countries throughout Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Russia and Ukraine.
More information on the program is available here.
