Charles University Holds Its Position in the Best Global Universities Ranking

Charles University has been listed among the world's best research-oriented universities according to the Best Global Universities ranking. In comparison with 1800 other universities worldwide, Charles University has held on to its 210th position from last year. Economics maintained its good position in the subject ranking.
The Best Global Universities ranking compares the level of scientific activity of universities on the basis of thirteen indicators affecting reputation, excellence, intensity, and cooperation in the field of research.
In the subject comparison, Charles University appeared among the best in twenty-four of the thirty-eight evaluated fields. According to the results, the economic workplaces of Charles University, which also include CERGE-EI, are among the best 200 worldwide.
