Dr. Jakob Andreasson is the leader for the research program for Applications in Molecular, Biomedical and Materials sciences at ELI-Beamlines. This research programme develops experimental stations for ultrafast science using mainly spectroscopy and diffraction techniques.
J.A. gained his PhD in 2008 from the Condensed Matter Physics Group, Department of Applied Physics, Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, Sweden. From 2008-2013 he has been a Researcher at Molecular Biophysics, Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden. From 2014 to present he heads the Research Programme for Applications in Molecular, Bio-medical and Material science at the ELI Beamlines facility. He has >50 peer reviewed publications, an h-index of 25 and over 5000 citations.
