Repeated and close collaboration with FZU has been very successful with the expected results. Damage thresholds for personal protection devices was tested at frequencies not exceeding 25 Hz and the necessary hardware modifications and specialized laser device innovations were subsequently made.

Our clients include a lot of successful Czech and international companies and institutions. As a result of mutual collaboration, a number of them extended their product portfolios and acquired new innovative solutions and technologies. Also, for this reason, some of them have got involved in collaboration with the FZU repeatedly. We would like to thank all institutions and companies for their confidence and look forward to further successful collaboration.
The collaboration of the FZU with Valeo Autoklimatizace k.s. was carried out at a very professional level using innovative technologies. We have repeatedly collaborated on the measurements of precision optical components for an interferometer. These measurements contributed to the improvement of the development of optical components in the automotive industry.
ELI Beamlines has offered its facilities and unique conditions to Edwards for testing in the area of vacuum. Specifically, a pump in a vacuum chamber was tested.
The FZU collaborated with Pražské vodovody a kanalizace, a.s. on projects dealing with the development, testing and usability of new types of diamond-coated electrodes for water purification and new types of diamond-coated sensors for electrochemical detection of heavy metals in water.
For applied research, contract collaboration between H + P SPECTROSCOPY with experts from ELI Beamlines was carried out in 2019. The technology, which was originally developed for internal purposes, serves as a real product for a focusing on XUV spectroscopy.
These were specialized optical calculations for the development of a new automated laser system. The results then served for correct unit programming and for usability limits.
A collaboration between ELI Beamlines scientists and Crytur spol. s r.o. was established relating to a modified method for synthesis of high optical quality and large diameter monocrystalline materials suitable for the production of large, optically homogeneous laser slabs. Along with the successful modification of standard large single-crystal synthesis methods, a process for enhancing absorption was developed to suppress amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in peripheral portions of laser slabs. The joint result of the collaboration was a patent application for a method of single-crystal synthesis and a method for generating laser radiation with the suppression of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE).
