Příspěvek popisuje klíčové určovací znaky ve zbarvení a morfologii dvou podobných druhů ploštic, a to dravé a vzácné kněžice červenonohé (Pinthaeus sanguinipes) a běžnější kněžice rudonohé (Pentatoma rufipes). Přiblížena je i biologie kněžice červenonohé, nález samce ve středních Čechách a jeho chov.

This article describes the key distinguishing differences in coloration and morphology between two similar bugs, namely the predatory stink bug Pinthaeus sanguinipes and the Forest Bug (Pentatoma rufipes). Both species are illustrated in colour photos. The characteristics can simplify identification of the species P. sanguinipes. Basic information on its bionomics is summarised. The latest finding of the rare stink bug P. sanguinipes in Central Bohemia is also presented.
