In Europe Trinia glauca (Apiaceae) serves as host plant of Phytoecia (Musaria) rubropunctata (Goeze, 1777). This fact was probably firstly discovered by gifted Italian entomologist Carlo Sturani (1938-1975), but published only six years after his tragic death [❖].
