Další díl seriálu o anatomické ilustraci se věnuje lékařským atlasům vznikajícím hlavně v Německu a v Rakousku v druhé polovině 19. století a první polovině 20. století. Zvláště zajímavé jsou práce a ilustrace věnované histologii (mikroskopické studium tkání) a embryologii, včetně srovnávací embryologie nejen člověka, ale i jiných skupin obratlovců.

Among anatomical atlases which were published in Germany and Austria in the second half of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century, those dealing with histology and embryology are particularly remarkable. Some of them focus on the comparative embryology of human beings and other vertebrates.
