Fotografická soutěž pro zaměstnance Akademie věd České republiky využívá od r. 2014 potenciál propagace AV ČR formou snímků spojených s výzkumnou činností. Výstupy letošního ročníku jsou představeny na putovní výstavě, reprezentativním kalendářem AV ČR a fotografie budou zařazeny do fotobanky AV ČR. Soutěž probíhala od 1. května do 22. června 2018, přihlášeno bylo 211 fotografií od 67 zaměstnanců z 25 pracovišť AV ČR, a to v kategoriích: hlavní kategorie Věda fotogenická, vedlejší kategorie Vědecké selfie, Československo objektivem vědců a cena Akademické rady AV ČR.
Since 2014 a photography competition for the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS) employees has made full use of its potential for CAS promotion in the form of photos associated with research activities. The output of this year's competition is presented in a touring exhibition and a prestige CAS calendar, and the photos will be included in the CAS Photobank. The competition ran from 1st May to 22nd June 2018, with 211 photos entered by 67 employees from 25 CAS workplaces in the following categories: Main category: Photogenic science; Second category: Scientific selfies. Czechoslovakia through the scientists' lens and the CAS Academic Council award.
