Searching the Catalog

The Charles University Central Catalog is the principal resource for information about books, journals, grey literature and all other materials in the CU libraries. You can search the whole CU Catalog or you can choose to limit your searches to holdings of the Jan Kmenta CERGE-EI Library.

How to search the catalog and locate items
Search hints are available below the search form on the catalog homepage. To locate Jan Kmenta CERGE-EI Library items that you have found in the catalog, the following details should be noted:

• Collection = the place where you can find the item within the library. Please ask a librarian to access items shelved in the Stock Room, in Basement Stock or in the Library Staff Office.
• Location = the DDC or another code under which you will find the item on the shelves.
• Due date = information about the current availability of the item.
