History of Science and Scientists in the 20th Century Society
The team researches the history of scientific institutions and their leading personalities in the Czech lands during the 20th century within a broader social context. Its main focus is the history of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences, its particular sites, and the history of other non-university scholarly institutions. The team relies on the social history of science and also explores broader questions connected with the intertwining of science and society.
