Václav Vrba, our classmate, friend and colleague passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, December 29. His life’s pilgrimage crossed ours in a number of places and for years in our working as well as personal lives and it is difficult for us to accept that it no longer will be so.

Flow cytometer installed in the Laboratory of Biophysics

Abstract

Interdisciplinary research of the Laboratory of Biophysics aims to gain insight in the understanding of how physical factors influence the processes that drive cell behaviour and functionality. The Czech Academy of Sciences supported the laboratory by providing funds for the CytoFLEX Beckman Coulter flow cytometer.

It is with profound sorrow that I inform you of the passing of our highly respected and beloved colleague, Antonio Lucianetti, after a short and insidious illness. He left this world calmly on November 19, 2020, in Bergamo at the age of 55.
