Cornova (ISSN 1804-6983) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Czech Society for Eighteenth Century Studies (ČSVOS, a member of the International Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies) and the Institute of Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences (ÚČL AV ČR, v.v.i.). Cornova is published twice a year.

 

Cornova is a peer-reviewed periodical accredited by the Czech Research, Development and Innovation Council (RVVI) for 2015 (i.e. the most recent one).

 

Founded in 2011, Cornova is an interdisciplinary academic journal focusing on research into the history of the Eighteenth century. Its aim is to present methodically deliberated papers, which, on a basis of original research, aspire to adress actual issues of Eighteenth Century studies and to stimulate their theoretical reflection in a Central European context.

 

The journal publishes texts in Czech, English, German and French with an abstract in English. Articles (and picture supplements) are to be sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. After being accepted by the editorial board, each article will be anonymously reviewed by two independent specialists on the subject. In order to be accepted for print, articles have to be revised by the author according to the main objections made in the reviews. They also have to match our citation style. The journal is commited to this ethical codex.
