Body length:	11 - 14 mm
Life cycle:	2 - 3 years
Adults in:	May - June
Host plant:	Kermes oak (Quercus coccifera), Berberidis cretica, Crataegus
Distribution:	a species endemic to Crete

The depicted beetles were beaten from a blossoming hawthorn (Crataegus) or reared from a larva feeding in of Berberidis cretica in Omalos (West Crete).
