Ondřej Kaman is the head of the Laboratory of synthetic nanomaterials in the Department of Magnetics and Superconductors. His research focus and activities relate primarily:

  • nanomaterials and molecular systems with magnetic ions – preparation and experimental studies of their structure and magnetism
  • experimental experience mainly in powder X-ray diffraction, magnetic measurements and characterization by TEM, DLS and IR spectroscopy etc.
  • detailed analysis of physical properties of magnetic nanoparticles relevant for medical applications (MRI, magnetic fluid hyperthermia, theranostics)
  • study of the magnetic behaviour of coordination compounds of d and f metals.
