Research and development of system of identification of explosives

Abstract: The objective of the project is construction of detector in commercial version, enabling detection of as wide spectrum of explosives as possible including these misused for commission of crime. In the first phase it is necessary to create explosives database, completed by improvised explosives. In the next step all needed samples of explosives will be synthetized and their detectability will be verified using NQR, SIFT and LIDB prototypes. After testing the most suitable method will be selected and subsequently detector will be constructed in final (commercial) version including the electronics needed and evaluation software.
