Diploma thesis of Rostislav Zlatník “Deposition of tungsten coatings using RF-ICP technology” was among the selected winning theses in Crytur Award 2020.
The award is given to material research oriented theses selected from all Czech universities and research institutes. The thesis is based on a research conducted at IPP using RF-ICP, a technology unique in the Czech Republic. The main outcome of the study is an optimization of properties of tungsten coatings to be used in tokamak first walls. More on the Crytur awards here, congratulations to the author.
