Náš článek je zaměřen na etymologickou a sménatickou analýzu českých (a některých vědeckých) názvů členovců a některých dalších bezobratlých živočichů, pocházejících z domorodých jazyků Austrálie a Oceánie. Analýza si všímá nejen lingvistických aspektů, ale také významu jednotlivých druhů pro původní obyvatele a jejich vztahu k domorodým kulturám. Článek hledá původní významy jednotlivých názvů a jejich souvislostí se vzhledem, chováním a ekologií. Všímá si také cest, jimiž domorodé názvy doputovaly do češtiny.

The last part of this series focuses on an etymological and semantic analysis of Czech (and some scientific) names of arthropods and other invertebrates, borrowed from the native languages of Australia and Oceania. The analysis takes into account not only the linguistic aspects, but also the importance of some kinds of invertebrates for native peoples and their culture. The author searches for the original meaning of the names and their relationships to the appearance, behaviour and ecology of the named species and genera. This article also reveals the ways these borrowings were incorporated into the Czech language.
