Dalibor Košek finished  his Phd at Charles University in Prague where he was involved in biophysical research of protein complexes. Then he moved to a 5 year long postdoc position at National Institutes of Health (NIDDK, Bethesda, U.S.A) in the group of Frederick Dyda where he became proficient in advanced methods of structural biology and significantly contributed to the understanding of several transposition mechanisms.
