Jiří Trešl has been a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences since November 2014. He is currently also an Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim. Jiří is a CFA and CAIA charterholder and he obtained his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His interests include empirical finance. In the past, he was a CIC traveling scholar at Northwestern University, a visiting professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University.
