Jasoň dymnivkový (Parnassius mnemosyne) je velmi ohroženým druhem motýla. Živnou rostlinou druhu jsou dymnivky (Corydalis sp.). Ústup druhu je spojován především se změnami hospodaření během druhé poloviny 20. století. Současný způsob pěstování a údržby lesa je pro tento druh nadále nepříznivý a vymírání pokračuje. Česká společnost entomologická jej proto vyhlásila druhem roku 2021. Text shrnuje poznatky o ekologii a historickém i současném rozšíření druhu včetně příkladu zániku perspektivních populací. Jsou také připomenuty postupy a principy vhodného managementu, který by ústup druhu zastavil.

The Clouded Apollo (Parnassius mnemosyne) is a highly endangered butterfly species. Its food plants are various species of the genus Corydalis. The decline of P. mnemosyne is associated primarily with changes in forest management during the second half of the 20th century. The current way of growing and maintaining the forest remains unfavourable for this species and its retreat continues. Hence the Czech Entomological Society declared the Clouded Apollo insect of the year 2021. The text summarises the knowledge on the ecology, historical and current distribution of the species, including examples of the extinction of well-established populations. Procedures and principles of appropriate management that would stop the retreat are recalled.
