The laboratory for electrical characterization is equipped with different setups for electrical characterization of semiconductor materials, devices, and structures in the temperature range of 70 to 430 K. The electrical characterization equipment consists of Source Measure Units for the current-voltage (I-V) measurements (with pA resolution), a Capacitance-Voltage (C-V) module for AC impedance measurements and a setup for the measurement of gas-sensing properties.
Equipment:
- LN cryostat with cryogenic temperature controller Lake Shore 330,340;
- Keithley 236/237 Source-Measure Unit;
- Keithley 590 C-V Analyzer;
- E4990A and 4192A Impedance Analyzer;
- Setup for the measurement of gas-sensing properties: a test chamber, sensor holder, and mass flow controllers MV304, MV302.
