Annotation:

Project goal is to established Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT) for synergic research projects ELI and HiLASE. The CITT will form a basis for application of their R&D results in practice. The CITT as an executive unit of the Institute of Physics AS CR will comprehensively and systematically address the process of transfer of technical solutions, knowledge and experience in theoretical and applied research to practical use.

Implementation of the CITT project is based on actual need to strengthen the professional potential of commercialization of R&D results generated in fields related to the latest generation of laser technology applications of (e.g. in the field of new materials and new processing methods, molecular biology, femtochemistry, nanotechnology, medicine, proton therapy of malignant tumors, diagnostic techniques, etc.).

CITT project will specifically include the following key activities, hence outputs:

  • creating of high-quality internal team of experts for the implementation of activities of CITT
  • establishment of institutional base of CITT as an executive unit within the Institute of Physics AS CR
  • developing a system to ensure fast and efficient technology transfer process
  • provision of services to support commercialization of R&D results towards the target groups of the project
  • continuous professional development of target groups in the field of technology transfer, intellectual property rights protection, commercialization of R&D results and innovation services
