Michal Bauer has been an Associate Professor with Tenure (under US permanent charter) at CERGE-EI and a member of the Executive and Supervisory Committee of CERGE-EI since 2017. He also has been an Associate Professor at CERGE, Charles University and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences (EI). Michal has worked as Associate Professor at the Institute of Economic Studies, Charles University. Michal graduated from Charles University, where he also received his Ph.D. degree. He was awarded Švejnar-Terrell’s Price for excellence in teaching. Michal’s research work has been published in many leading economics journals, including Economic Journal, Journal of Economic Perspectives, American Economic Review, Experimental Economics, and others.
