Martin Srholec has been a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences since 2010 and at CERGE, Charles University since 2017. He has served as Deputy Director for Research of CERGE, Charles University, and the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences since May 2018. He earned his PhD degree in Economics (2003) from the University of Economics in Prague, the Czech Republic, and in Science, Technology, and Innovation Studies (2005) from the University of Oslo, Norway. From 2002 to 2010, he was based at the TIK Centre, University of Oslo, Norway. He worked as an Associate Professor at CIRCLE, Lund University, Sweden (2011 - 2017). He has published in Economic Geography, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of Economic Geography, Journal of Evolutionary Economics, Regional Studies, Research Policy, Review of World Economics, World Development and other journals.
