Centre of Experimental Mechanics
The Centre of Experimental Mechanics (hereinafter CEM) consists of a proprietary laboratory and a lab workshop:
a) The laboratory specializes in research on the behaviour of elements, structures and their models under static and repeated loads, the study of strains and stresses in solid bodies and their systems, the development of applications for servo-hydraulic loading systems, research on seismic parameters, dynamic testing of elements, structures and their models, the development of experimental methods for modal analysis, the creation of dynamic models and their examination using the vibratory table and mobile oscillation drivers.
b) The laboratory workshop ensures the design and production of mechanical models of structures, modifications of instruments and the production of experimental devices for research purposes.
