Mentoring Program for PhD Students 2020

In 2020, CERGE-EI offered a free mentoring workshop supporting PhD students, helping them to define career goals and the steps needed to achieve them. Workshops were open to students from other universities (and fields other than economics) within our Economics Discovery Hub platform.

Mentoring Program for Women Researchers 2019

The second round of the program started in January and finished in March 2019.

The program goal was to strengthen support for PhD students, encouraging them to pursue a successful research career. It run for two months and was organized in cooperation with the Centre for Gender and Science of the Czech Academy of Sciences. A specifically designed 6-hour workshop was offered, followed by a series of follow-up meetings with special guests and CERGE-EI alumni (sharing experiences of their work in academia, the private sector, and international organizations). The program was funded by the the British Embassy Prague.
