Researcher for analysis of various material surfaces
The successful candidate (m/f) will become a part of an internationally recognized Analytical Techniques Research Group. He/she will participate in the analysis of materials using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
What you will do
- Perform analysis of various material surfaces using the XPS method
- Designing experiments and sample preparation
- Evaluation of acquired data and their processing (Excel, Origin, etc)
- Collaboration on the preparation of scientific publications
- Other activities according to the current focus of research at FZU

Required qualifications
- Ph.D. degree/Ph.D. student in physics, material science or chemistry, biology
- Ability to interpret the results in terms of characterization of the surface of the studied samples
- Ability to process data and prepare it for output/publication
- Willingness to cooperate in a wide range of topics (according to the current focus of research at FZU)
- Ability to work quickly with new software and devices is an advantage (KolXPD, CasaXPS, etc.)
- Experimental dexterity
- Communicativeness
- Advanced English, written and spoken

Terms of employment
