EI Academy of Sciences

The Economics Institute (EI) of the Czech Academy of Sciences was established in 1992 (as the successor of two previous institutes) to further high-quality research and graduate education in scientific economics. The Academy of Sciences itself traces its history to the Royal Czech Society of Sciences, which was established in the Czech Crown lands in 1784.
