Jednou ze skupin hmyzu neustále pronikavěji postihovanou výraznými změnami v krajině jsou také brouci, nejnápadněji větší nebo barevné druhy. Článek diskutuje způsob života a možné příčiny vyhynutí krasce hnědého (Perotis lugubris), krasce temného (Capnodis tenebrionis) a puchýřníka rakouského (Alosimus syriacus austriacus) na jižní Moravě v průběhu 20. stol.

The article discusses the bionomics and possible extinction drivers of the Metalic Wood-boring Beetle (Perotis lugubris), Flat-headed Root Borer (Capnodis tenebrionis) and the blister beetle Alosimus syriacus austriacus in South Moravia during the 21st century.
