Článek se zabývá problematikou invazivních mykotických infekcí vyvolaných vláknitými houbami. Jsou uvedeny nejčastější rizikové faktory, nejčastější typy invazivních infekcí a možnosti diagnostiky a léčby těchto infekcí. Invazivní mykózy jsou obvykle spojeny s vysokou mortalitou.
