We received the project called Interactions of single bubble or drop with a vortex-ring in a public competition in the Czech Science Foundation (GACR) program (No. 22-29605S). The principal investigator is Ing. Mária Zedníková Ph.D. from the Department of Multiphase Reactors. The proposed project aims to study the fundamental problem of fluid mechanics, namely the mechanism of single bubble or single drop interactions with a single vortex-ring. The obtained knowledge will help to better understand both the turbulence modulation due to the presence of fluid particles and the fluid particle dynamics after interaction with the turbulent structure.
