Optical properties of transition metal ions in zeolite matrices.

Siting, coordination and properties of transition metal ions located in inorganic molecular sieve matrices will be studied using UV-Vis-NIR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and time-resolved laser-induced emission spectroscopy. TMI sites are promising active sites for number of redox reactions.
