- in 2008 defended PhD in meteorology and climatology on Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague. Thesis: Long term variability of the relationships between atmospheric circulation and surface climate elements
- in 2002 graduated in physics (specialization: meteorology and climatology), Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague. Diploma thesis: Heat island of Prague: the intensity and long-term changes under different synoptic condition
