A combination of theoretical study, purposeful work, and valuable practical experience – this is what the Radius Development Centre provides to university students. The centre was conceived by three Institutes of the Academy of Sciences – The Institute of Physics, The J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry and the Biology Centre together with two universities – Palacký University in Olomouc and University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
In collaboration with private sector partners, the Centre offers internships both in academia and industry. Each internship is supervised by mentors –top experts in their fields, providing the students with the opportunity to learn from the best, and to try what it is like to work at cutting-edge laboratories and with leading industrial companies.
From now on, students can be signing up for a number of internships offered both in Czech and English; the internships are open to students from abroad.
More information and the full offer of internships is available at www.centrumradius.cz.
In a video interview, the Radius Centre is presented by the Centre’s main coordinator Alexandr Dejneka, the Head of the Optics Division of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
