Dear science fans and enthusiasts!
We kindly invite you to Open Days IPE on November 4 - 5, 2021, which are organized as part of the Week of the Czech Academy of Sciences (formerly the Week of Science and Technology). What can you see? We will take you to 7 laboratories (you can choose from two places - the main building in Prague 8-Kobylisy and a detached workplace in Prague 6-Lysolaje). During the excursions, we will introduce you the latest scientific procedures and their use in practice. Every visitor can participate in our traditional competition, the main prize is a Day with a Scientist. The capacity of laboratories is limited, so it is necessary to register in advance! You can register online at dod.ufe.cz. This event is intended for the general public, we recommend the age of 15+.
As we had an unusual year and the epidemiological situation may develop differently, we made changes. Compared to previous years, we will meet visitors on excursions only in the afternoon and evening. And what´s more, we organize an outdoor game for all who are interested in science called the Light Trip, which will be accessible from October 9 to November 7.
