Ing. Jan Fait on Monday, February 1, 2021, successfully defended his dissertation on the topic „Fabrication and characterization of diamond photonic structures“ under the guidance of the supervisor prof. Bohuslav Rezek from the Department of Physics, CTU and supervisor specialist Dr. Lukáš Ondič from the Institute of Physics of the CAS. Opponents of the work were prof. Christoph Becher from the University of Saarland, prof. Dušan Pudiš from the University of Žilina and doc. Ivan Richter from the FNSPE, CTU. All opponents highly rated the quality of the submitted dissertation, the achieved results and the presentation of the doctoral student during the defense. During his studies, Jan Fait received the prestigious Milan Odehnal Award, which recognizes young authors of scientific works in the field of physics. We wish you much success in your future work.
