COURSES FOR TEACHERS
Lifelong learning courses for secondary-school teachers bring the latest knowledge and scientific results to their schools. The courses are focused on inquiry-based science education, which allows the teachers to demonstrate interesting experiments and motivate students for a future scientific career. Our aim is to present the secondary-school teachers with approbation in biology, chemistry and physics news in the science, to mediate their meetings with famous Czech scientists and educate them in new approaches in education, mainly in the practical education in labs. The global goal is to support long-term disadvantaged natural and technical sciences and through teachers motivate students to start their career as a researcher in the field of natural and technical sciences. The goal is achieved every year through specialised week courses separately for biology, chemistry and physics.
