Institute evaluated the competition for the best publication of IPE for 2018.

Jiří Slabý and Nicholas Scott Lynn, Optical Biosensores research team members, received diplomas for the best scientific publication of IPE for 2018.

The management of the Institute organizes annual competition for the best publication conceived by IPE authors. A scientific publication (a journal article or a monograph) that meets pre-defined criteria can be entered into the contest. The evaluation of the competition and the selection of the best publication is performed by the expert committee.

Several publications have been nominated, but only one can be winning. For the year 2018, the following publication conceived by Optical Biosensores research team authors won: B. Špačková, N. S. Lynn Jr., J. Slabý, H. Šípová, J. Homola: A route to superior performance of a nanoplasmonic biosensor: consideration of both photonic and mass transport aspects, ACS Photonics, 5, 1019-1025 (2018).
