Ph.D. Candidates Successfully Finishing Their Studies

Some of our Ph.D. Candidates are finishing their studies at CERGE-EI in September. We wish them all the best with their defenses!
On Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, Jan Šedek will defend his dissertation "Essays on Allocations in Two-Sided Markets." Jan Zápal (CERGE-EI) is the Chair of the Dissertation Committee, which includes Jakub Steiner (CERGE-EI) and Filip Matějka (CERGE-EI). The Defense Committee will include Ole Jann (CERGE-EI) and Ondřej Kalenda (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University), with Krešimir Žigić (CERGE-EI) as the Chair. The event will take place online (password: 5749).
On Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021, Jakub Grossmann will defend his dissertation "Essays on Local Labor Markets." Štěpán Jurajda (CERGE-EI) is the Chair of the Dissertation Committee, which includes Christian Ochsner (CERGE-EI), Filip Pertold (CERGE-EI), Nikolas Mittag (CERGE-EI), Daniel Münich (CERGE-EI), and Randall Filer (The City University of New York). The Defense Committee will include Vasily Korovkin (CERGE-EI) and Michal Franta (Czech National Bank), with Mariola Pytliková (CERGE-EI) as the Chair. This defense will also take place online (password: 5872).
