Two CERGE-EI alumni among the most influential women in the Czech Republic

Forbes magazine has included two CERGE-EI alumni, Hana Krejčí and Michaela Erbenová, in its annual ranking of the most influential women in the Czech Republic.
Hana Krejčí graduated from the doctoral program at CERGE-EI in 2002. She is a Board member and director of finance at EP Industries, one of the most important industrial groups in the Czech Republic. Among other things, she is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Nadace CERGE-EI. She placed 12th.
Michaela Erbenová studied in the first CERGE-EI cohort and completed her doctoral program in 1997. She works as the Deputy Director of the Institute for Capacity Development at the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the past, Erbenová held the position of IMF Executive Director for the Central European Region. She ranked 58th.
Michaela was also included in the #FinŽeny project among the most influential women in the Czech financial world.
Forbes magazine has been compiling a list of the most influential women in the Czech Republic since 2012. It monitors women who have a direct influence on events in the Czech Republic, whether from their positions in politics and the public sphere, in business, or in philanthropy and charities. Among others, Charles University Founder, Milena Králičková and the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Eva Zažímalová, placed in the ranking.
