Within the framework of the Researchers at Risk initiative, the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences announces an international invitation for tenders for the following job positions:
Technical worker (mechanics/electronics) in Central Laboratory of Mechanics.
- masters or similar education in technical field (mechanical engineering, electronics)
- good proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Czech or German is an advantage
- independence, diligence, responsibility, reliability, integrity
- experience with research projects and relevant publication activity is an advantage
- work in the Central laboratory of mechanics,
- mechanical measurement, preparation of specimens, electronics,
- collaboration on the implementation of various research projects and contracts,
- collaboration on the formulation of new projects,
- work on interdisciplinary research projects in the field,
- presentation of results at various events, including international conferences
- Requirements:
- masters or PhD in technical field (e.g. civil engineering, structural dynamics, aerodynamics), started PhD study is an advantage
- excellent proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Czech or German is an advantage
- independence, diligence, responsibility, reliability, integrity
- experience in programming, and knowledge in FEM, CFD
- experience with research projects and relevant publication activity is an advantage
- work in the Laboratory of Dynamics and Aerodynamics,
- mechanical measurement, data processing,
- collaboration on the implementation of various research projects and contracts,
- collaboration on the formulation of new projects,
- work on interdisciplinary research projects in the field,
- presentation of results at various events, including international conferences
