15. International Conference GeoRaman 2022

The 15th International Scientific Conference GeoRaman 2022 will be held from 29 August to 1 September at Karolinum, the historic building of Charles University. The GeoRaman conference series is a traditional gathering of top scientists focusing on the application of analytical method of Raman spectroscopy in the geosciences, planetary sciences and cultural heritage. This edition is organized by the staff of the Institute of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Mineral Resources, main organizer is Mgr. Adam Culka, Ph.D.

A student of our faculty has been admitted to the most prestigious international PhD program EMBL

The EMBL International Doctoral Programme (EIPP) is the most prestigious postgraduate programme in Europe. It aims to promote excellence in the molecular life sciences and to train young talented scientists. One of them will be Pavlina Marková, a student of our faculty from the Soft Matter research group at the Department of Physical and Macromolecular Chemistry, starting this October. Summer School on Migration and Development at our Faculty

Eighty students from more than forty countries are participating in the week-long Summer School on Migration and Development at the Faculty of Science of the Charles University from Sunday 14 August (to Saturday 20 August). The programme is organised by the Geomigration team from the Department of Social Geography and Regional Development with the support of the European International Network for Migration and Integration Research IMISCOE. The summer school takes place in the Albertov 6 building.
