- The storage, registration and sorting out of metallurgical and non-metallic materials (vertical and horizontal band saw, lever shears)
- Machining of metallic and non-metallic materials on lathes (4 machines), milling machines (3 machines) and drilling machines (3 machines).
- The production of parts and small functional units for vacuum, optical and chemical apparatuses.
- Consultations with scientists concerning technical problems and proposals of solutions. Assistance in the processing of manufacture drawing documentation.
- Locksmith and plumbing work, welding, maintenance work in the buildings of the Institute.
