The new main building of IPP, the construction of which began in April 2020, was ceremonially opened on May 30, 2022 in the presence of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and other important guests.

The heart of Power Supply System of the new tokamak COMPASS-U delivered

The new flywheel generator, a unique custom made machine with total weight over 130 tons, was fully tested and is prepared to be installed on the tokamak site. This key device serves as an energy storage and supplies the tokamak during the experiment.

The Meeting COST Action 17126 TUMIEE was held in IPP

On April 28 and 29, 2022 the Meeting COST Action 17126 TUMIEE was held. This  two days Working Group meeting was take place on IPP Prague. The event was attended by scientists from 12 countries of the European Union.
