Making sense of alternative splicing in plants

The seminar will be held at the Institute of Experimental Botany, Czech Academy of Sciences, Rozvojová 263, Prague 6, in the Library room (building B1, 1st floor).

Ksenia Timofeyenko from our Laboratory of Hormonal Regulations in Plants will present the complex phenomenon of alternative splicing in plants from different perspectives: the role of alternative splicing in plants, difficulties in the field and possible ways of overcoming them. Also, she will share some findings which she and her colleagues unexpectedly stumbled upon in their studies.
