Live stream of the first of online seminar series organized by the Department of Comenius Studies and Early Modern Intellectual History, Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences

 

 


The programme includes two papers:

Tomáš Machula (University of South Bohemia, České Budějovice):
"Scripture, Metaphors, and Theology in Aquinas and his Early Modern Commentators"

and

Paul Richard Blum (Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore)
"God as His Own Metaphor: Creating images according to Giordano Bruno"

Each presentation takes 20 minutes and a discussion follows.
