The Student Support Fund was established in 2019 for CERGE-EI Master’s students (Master’s in Economics leading to a PhD in Economics, and Master’s in Economic Research) to raise funds for their stipends and fellowships. This support is vital for them to concentrate fully on their studies. It helps CERGE-EI study programs be more competitive with other top programs in attracting the best talent.

Support the CERGE-EI Student Fund
Thanks to the generous support of CERGE-EI Alumni and the Boards of Nadace CERGE-EI, we managed to award 4 alumni excellence fellowships from the Student Support Fund. The fellowships are meant for newly enrolled students who were ranked as the very best by the Admission Committee and remain among the top quarter of the first-year cohort based on their cumulative GPA ranking. It can also be awarded to second-year students who manage to pass the complete first-year general exams with a PhD pass and rank among the top three students of their study cohort.
