About us

In 2018, the Czech Committee for Biophysics was administered by the Institute of Biophysics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and was renamed the Czech Biophysical Association. The members of the association are scientists of the Institute of Biophysics, as well as teachers and professors of universities in Prague, Brno, Olomouc and Hradec Králové. The members of the association participate in biophysics research and teaching, regularly participate in biophysical meetings, conferences and online discussions, carry out a number of expert expertise and assessments. The Biophysics Association is a member of the International Union for Pure and Applied Biophysics (IUPAB) a European Biophysical Societies' Association (EBSA). Its main mission is to promote biophysics research and teaching, to publish information on biophysics events.
