The first step is to choose the laboratory that the applicant would like to join. The applicant must complete an on-line application. The next step is an interview at IMG to which we aim to invite all potential candidates. If for any reason the on-site interview is not possible, group-leaders perform the interview via Internet. Applicants give a short presentation of their undergraduate research and are briefly interviewed by a three-member committee. Next the applicants visit the selected laboratories and meet with group leaders in order to find the best match. After selection, the candidates will be informed as soon as possible about the outcome of the selection process and further steps necessary for admittance to the PhD programme in biomedicine.
