Michal Cifra, teamleader of Bioelectrodynamics research team, received the Justin Teissié award from the International Society for Electroporation-Based Technologies and Treatments.
This award, being the only type of award given by the Society, is presented to a scientist under 40 years, who made an important contribution in the field of electroporation and pulsed electric field. Michal received the award at the 4th World Congress on Electroporation & Pulsed Electric Fields in Biology, Medicine, Food and Environmental Technologies held in Copenhagen, October 9 - 13, 2022, after presenting the lecture Non-canonical biological targets of intense pulsed electric field: proteins.
